I live, breath and dream design.. It is my passion. Design is an expression, a thought, a piece of art. It is what makes this world go round. Color is my playground and expression is my pallet. Something so simple can say a thousand words, and show something to the world in a whole new perspective. The connection of creating something meaningful and personal is what makes me feel complete as a designer.
I have always been intrigued by design. Thinking outside the box has always been my forte. I grew up in a family of 8 brothers and sisters. We were a crazy rambunctious bunch of kids, that never seemed to sit and relax. Dinner time was always a chaotic time of day. The moment you walk in the kitchen it was as if you entered into a circus tent filled with zoo animals. The only way my mom could calm us all down was when she would take random items off the table, [like a fork] and pass it around for each of us to come up with different things it could be, besides what it really was. My mom taught us to look at things in a whole different perspective, than just a simple eating utensil.
I graduated with a bachelors degree in Interior Design and I plan to continue my schooling in graphic design. Last summer I went to Europe, studying abroad for about two months, traveling to Spain, Ireland, London, France and Italy. I never imaged to learn and grow so much while there, and it was a great experience exploring my favorite places full of design and culture. You can check out my travels on my blog adore to explore. After my Europe adventure I moved to Arizona where I worked at a graphic design firm until I got married March 2012! I moved to Charleston, South Carolina while my husband finishes up his last two years in dental school. While I am here I plan to continue my passion for design and enjoy the beauties of the low country.
